The fourth height

Elena Ilyina - pseudonym Lia Yakovlevna Marshak, sister Samuel Yakovlevich Marshak. Her Peru owns many stories, poems and fairy tales for young and middle children, but her most famous work is the story “The Fourth Height” (1945) about Hell Koroleva, her childhood, youth and feat during the Great Patriotic War. Gulya (Marionella) Korolev in childhood, even before the war, played several roles in the cinema, and for one of them received a ticket to Artek. But she did not go to study after school at the Theater Institute, but to the Institute of Reclamation in order to bring real benefits to their people. However, she failed to work in her specialty: the war began, and she became a sanitary designer, pulled about a hundred fighters from under the fire. Gulya died in 1942, when she was only twenty years old. The book “The Fourth Height” is a real monument to an ordinary Soviet schoolgirl who gave his life for his homeland.
