The book introduces the reader to the work of the famous English writer Joseph Rediaard Kipling (1865-1936) Traveling to different countries, in 1899 he spent several months in South Africa, where he collected material for a new children"s book, which was published in 1902 under the name Tales just like that. Children around the world are read out by his stories about the curious elephant, about a cat who walked on its own, about how the leopard became spotty, as the first letter was written.
This manual will help students of high school prepare for the main state exam in English.
The text of the manual is adapted for educational purposes to the Elementary level. Each chapter is accompanied by commentary, translating difficult words and expressions, as well as exercises aimed at the formation of the communicative competence of students.
