In his second poetic collection, Atticus turns to the phenomenon of the duality of our life experience - throwing between the brightest and most elevated feelings and the inevitable fall into the abyss of one’s own consciousness. He writes about the frantic energy of nascent love, about its rapid development and painful nostalgia from parting and a feeling of emptiness. Despite all these conflicting emotions, Atticus claims that life is amazing in its fullness, that it needs to be lived with aimed, striving forward, because this is our best journey.
