Emily Dikinson is a brilliant American poet. During her life, she published only ten poems, but in the 20th century this woman from a small provincial city, lost among Massachusetts, was destined to become an outstanding national poet and a legendary person, whose name today is known to every American.
This edition presents translations of selected poems by Emily Dikinson. Some of them were previously published in various collections. A separate book these translations are published for the first time. The book includes an essay reflecting the interesting facts of the biography of the mysterious poetess, whose life was full of secrets and understatement.
In parallel, English and Russian texts are given, which enables the reader to get acquainted with the poetry of the great American and in the original language
