Stories about the family of restless adventure seekers, pigs named Khryullops, appeared in the United States in 1957. The Career of the Alsacean Tomi Ungerer, who later became one of the most famous illustrators of the 20th century, laureate of the Andersen Prize and the author of more than 140 children"s books, began with the Hrucks - moreover, in 30 of them, he was not only illustrations, but also the text!
Hrucks build rafts, produce alternative fuel, explore caves, captivate to the Indians, repair the motors and ... always return home to the mother’s cake.
Graceful, simultaneously concise and full humor and the smallest details of illustrations tell stories no worse than words. And the texts are ideal for the first reading.
This book of five stories has already been published in the “Self -Cat” and is again reprinted to the joy of younger readers and everyone who appreciates the children"s book
