The girl Sajo and her brother Shepien are children from the Indian tribe. Once, the father brings them two small beans, who lost their family. Children are attached to these cute animals with all their hearts. But once they have to part with one bobrenk, the baby is threatened with a hard life in captivity. To save their favorite pet, children go on a long and dangerous journey, overcoming many obstacles with a risk to life. Fortunately, they meet many good people on their way, who help them return a little friend.

There he accepted the Indian name of the gray owl and it was under him that became known to the whole world as the author of this book and as the hot defender of the pristine nature of North America.
