Mark Twain (1835 - 1910) - pseudonym of an American writer and public figure Samuel Langhorn Clemens. Ernst Hemingway believed that Twain was the ancestor of modern American literature. The most popular works for schoolchildren: “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” (1876), “The Adventures of Geklberry Finn” (1884), “Prince and the Beggar” (1881)

The fearless Huck Finn goes on a trip to the Mississippi along with the Negro Jim, later Tom joins them. The heroes have to meet with robbers, re -build a raft and rescue Jim from slavery.
