Tales of little Mashenka: a collection of stories

Like all children, little Mashenka is a big dreamer and an inventor. She believes with all her soul in fairy tales: in wonderful transformations, and into magical countries, and in Babu-Yagu, and in the speaking animal animals. And therefore, every Mashenkin day - even the most ordinary - is filled with amazing events and adventures.

None of the adults, of course, not notice this, they continue to live their usual adulthood, while Mashenka decreases to the size of the pea, then falls into the wasteland of washing powder, then visit the Baba Yaga house.
“Tales of little Mashenka” were first published in 1962. They were read in childhood to many modern mothers and even grandmothers, and they will be happy to read them to their today"s children and grandchildren. After all, in sixty years, these tales are completely out of the way. They unusually accurately convey the childish sensation of the world with its faith in magic at every step. Reading them, adults themselves will feel like children for a while and will be much better to understand their kids.
This publication is an abbreviated version of Tales of Little Mashenka. It included three fairy tales out of seven.
