Illustrator Ekaterina Belajeva, BAI) is a professional artist, leader and teacher of the Perspektivart children"s art studio and eastern painting studio in Riga. It was a deep interest in Chinese and Japanese painting, with its inherent symbolism and a special look at the composition, that influenced the production of his own style in the illustration. Illustrations for "tales of flowers" are created for reusable viewing and thoughts, they enrich the text and make its perception more voluminous.
Translator Anna Gogel, familiar children call "fairy -tale Anya": for many years she conducted public children"s readings in Riga. The study of psychology, pedagogy, translations of fiction, teaching children of art - all this experience helped Anna in a new way to look at "fairy tales about flowers" and translate them from an adult language into children.
The compilers of this series first drew attention to the relationship of some fairy tales about colors and divided them into thematic blocks - "bouquets".
"Tales of flowers" are published in four collections: "Tales of flowers: Latvian bouquet", "Tales of flowers: Eastern bouquet", "Tales of flowers: European bouquet", "Tales of colors: Romantic bouquet".
