The taiga hides a lot of unknown in herself. And certainly a lot of fabulous. Of course, Vera and Varya, going to Siberia, are not guessing about this for the summer holidays. It seems to them that everything is quite the opposite. For city girls, the forest is boring, and maybe terribly. If even in the courtyard of the grandfather’s house not to hide from spiders and ants, what monsters are waiting for them in the forest more often?! Ekaterina Shelemetyeva was born and raised in Siberia, graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Tomsk State University. So, she is familiar with the taiga firsthand. The book was illustrated by the wonderful artist Anna Scholkova.
