The collection includes the lyrical poems of Marina Tsvetaeva, created in 1917-1940, the era of the highest creative heyday and literary maturity. In these years, the uncompromising Tsvetaevsky character was fully manifested, as well as the uniqueness of its poetic gift, the significance of which in the heat of political and literary wars could not always be evaluated by contemporaries, both in Soviet Moscow and in Russian Paris. Nevertheless, contrary to misunderstanding and loneliness, one “for all” and one “against all”, Tsvetaeva truly became the “leader of her fate” (as Bella Akhmadulina wrote about her) and took one of the main places among the largest poets of the twentieth century
