In the anniversary year, Gianni Rodari in the publishing house "Nigma" is a large collection of his poems, most of which are first translated into Russian. Italian readers know and love these verses from early childhood, in our country they will be a discovery for everyone who appreciates the work of the Rodari.
The collection includes the poems of Gianni Rodari, written in different years. The echoes of Italian poetic folklore, which is called Italian called "philastrockey", are heard in them. The poet and translator Tatyana Stamova carefully translated them into Russian, preserving the gravity of the language and humor, characteristic of the work of the author and Italian poetry as a whole.
The book includes poems on the most different topics: there are fairy tales in poetry, and stories about stars and planets, about letters and words, about the costume of harlequin and postage stamps and about many, many other things ...
Preface to The collection was written by the poet Mikhail Yasnov. He praised the quality of the translation and noted that a "difficult work was done, requiring attention to both grammar and fantasy."
The collection was illustrated by the artist Sergey Lyubaev. Sergei Viktorovich repeatedly traveled to Italy. The sketches made during these trips formed the basis of illustrations. A distinctive feature of his work is a systematic approach to the book as a holistic work. Sergey Lyubaev - laureate of the award of Alexander Solzhenitsyn, was nominated three times from Russia for the Astrid Lindgren International Prize, and consists in the Moscow Union of Artists.
