One of the largest poets of the 20th century Vladimir Mayakovsky, perhaps, like no other, took an active part in creating his books not only as a writer, but often as a publisher, a designer and even a printer. It is such a unique book that included in the Golden Fund of the printing culture of Russia, in front of you! In his legendary "Soviet alphabet", published in 1919, Mayakovsky performed the letters of the alphabet in the form of title letters, and personally tinted in terms of circulation. This reprint edition uses just such a rare color copy on rough dark paper, similar to the original. The author’s design is fully preserved, including the rear cover with a randomly printed letter "Ts" and pages dedicated in places dedicated to the letters "E" and "Yu". The topical work was written by a brilliant poet, in his own words, for army use: There were searse that are not very good for salons, but which went very well for trenches. Almost the entire circulation of the "alphabet was sent to the front, and therefore the preserved specimens for today are the greatest rarity
