The language of these fairy tales is concise, understandable to small readers, the fairy tales themselves are short and simple. Mansi tales open before us the world is true and harsh, without embellishment and illusions. The main characters are animals and plants endowed with the ability to speak and think. The book also has stories about Ekva-Pryasya, a folk hero who, even in childhood, was able to defeat the cruel slaughterhouse with his ingenuity and courage.
