Sleeping like a shark

Dad calls Maya to sleep, but she still has so many things! And why every evening you need to go to bed? After all, it is so boring! It is much more interesting, for example, to sleep upside down, caught on a tree branch, like a bat. Or in the sink, like a snail: you can climb into the house that you have on your back at any second, and sleep a day or two. How convenient! Or sleep in the ocean with open eyes, like a shark. Swim - and sleep! Or lying on his back, like a tear, surrounded by all his relatives and holding onto each other"s paws. Beauty! Or like a walrus that falls asleep anywhere and in any position. Or like a bear who sleeps all winter and does not know what cold, snow and wind are. But in the summer he sleeps little. Well, isn"t that great? And Maya decides to try! But in the end he realizes that she does not want to sleep in the frozen silt, like a frog. And standing like a zebra, she cannot sleep. She needs more sleep than a giraffe, but less than a bear. Having tried everything, she recalls her warm crib and decides that she will be better to sleep like a child!
In children"s literature about animals, there are not many books telling how different representatives of the animal world sleep. Following Maya, the child learns about the “sleepy habits” of a bat, snails, sharks, otter, bear, giraffe, zebras, walrus, ducks, ferrets, frogs ... and man!
