Selected works. In 2 volumes

The two-volume edition of the works of M. Yu. Lermontov was prepared for the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and contains his chosen poetic, dramatic and prosaic works, mainly of Caucasian themes.
A joint project with the State Museum-Reserve M. Yu. Lermontov in Pyatigorsk, under the general editorship and introductory article by N.V. Markelov.
The first volume includes poems and poems, as well as 75 color illustrations for them, made specifically for the real publication by the professional book schedule of O.V. Grandelvskaya, the winner of the All -Russian contest "Lermontov - 2014" for the best illustration of the poet"s works.
The second volume includes the novel "Hero of our time" and the drama "Masquerade", completes his "Chronicle of the life and work of M.Yu. Lermontov".
For the first time, the publication of Lermontov works is accompanied by such a large number of illustrations: 43 - to the "hero of our time" and 32 - to the "masquerade".
