Walking in the flea market, Tintin sees a model of an old sailboat and decides to give him a friend to Captain Huddok. The captain is delighted, because this is the exact copy of the “unicorn” - the ship commanded by his glorious ancestor Francois de Addox. At the end of the XVII century, pirates, led by Red Raccam, captured the ship, but Captain de Addock blew him up so that the proud frigate of his Majesty King Louis XIV would not go to the filibusters. The ship sank in a quiet bay near the nameless island, and with it all the treasures that managed to drag the pirates from their gained sloop. The Chevalier de Addox himself escaped and to his sons, he bequeathed three miniature copies of the “unicorn” with a secret. This secret is trying to unravel Tintin. But, as it turns out, he is not alone ...

Starting to work on him, Erzhe first thought about the adventure in two volumes, because, with all the obvious connection, the albums of the “cigars of the pharaoh” and “Blue Lotus” look like completely independent stories that can be read even in the reverse sequence, without losing the thread of the story . Here we have a classic dilogy, in the first part of which the heroes solve the secret of the sunken ship, and in the second (“Treasure of Red Raccam”) they go in search of treasures, presumably located on board
