Alexander Kabanov (born in 1968 in Kherson) is a Ukrainian poet living in Kyiv and writing in Russian. The author of the twelve books of poems and numerous publications in journal and newspaper periodicals: “New World”, “Banner”, “October”, “Continent”, “Friendship of Peoples”, “Arion”, “New Gazeta”, “Literary Newspaper” and others .
Russian Prize laureate, Antologia Prize - for the highest achievements in modern poetry, the New World magazine, the International Voloshinsky Prize, etc.
The verses of Alexander Kabanov were transferred to Ukrainian, Polish, Belarusian, English, German, French, Dutch, Finnish, Georgian, Serbian and other languages.
Alexander Kabanov is the editor -in -chief of the magazine about the modern culture Sho, the coordinator of the International Festival of Poetry Kyiv Lavra, one of the founders of the Ukrainian slam.
