Sergey Timofeevich Aksakov (1791 - 1859) - Russian writer, literary and theater critic. Born in Ufa in a noble family belonging to an old family, graduated from the Kazan gymnasium and entered Kazan University. In the gymnasium S.T. Aksakov began to write poetry, in the university years he participated in the work of the student theater. Without graduating from the university, he moved to St. Petersburg, where he entered the service in the commission to draw up laws as a translator. However, this work was not very interesting to the future writer, he was increasingly interested in literary activity. In 1847 S.T. Aksakov published "Notes on the Removing of Pisces", in 1849 - "Notes of a Ruzhny Hunter", both books were considerable success. But a truly writer became famous for his autobiographical books-"Family Chronicle" (1856) and "Children"s years of Bagrov-Venuka" (1858), written on the basis of children"s memories and family traditions
