Vladimir Karpovich Zheleznikov wrote the story “Scarecrow” in 1981 and first raised the problem of school persecution (bullying in Russian children"s literature, expressed in a new way) The story was a great success, and in 1983 the film of the same name was released by Roland Bykov with Christina Orbakaite in the title role. For several decades, a scarecrow in the dress of Lenka Bessoltseva burns out at the stake, and teenagers ask all the same questions: what to do if you are not like everyone else? Who is the traitor? How to deal with school persecution?
