Olga Fyodorovna Bergholts (1910–1975)-writer, poet, journalist, playwright.
The first verses of the 14th-Construction of Olga Bergholz appeared in 1925 in the factory wall newspaper. And in the 15th poem of the young poetess “The Song of the Banner” was published by the newspaper for children and adolescents “Leninist sparks.” Since August 1941, she worked on the radio, almost daily addressing the residents of the city. Olga Bergholz ended each radio point with her verses. And her poems helped Leningraders survive in a freezed blockade city and not lose human dignity. People dying of hunger and exhaustion listened to the appeal of the poetess from the black radiotamp and strengthened in faith to survive to victory. The voice of Olga Bergholz was not in vain called a symbol of victory, and the poetess itself - the muse of the besieged Leningrad. People came to the editor and thanked for her speeches.
After the war, on the granite stele of the Piskarevsky memorial cemetery, where 470,000 Leningraders who died during the Leningrad blockade and in battles during the protection of the city rest from the poem by Olga Bergholz: “” “ Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten
