The era of the Vikings is unusually attractive. Drakkars and military campaigns, the Scandinavian gods and saga involuntarily wake up the imagination. However, we quite vaguely imagine how life flowed a thousand years ago, how a person managed to survive in a harsh world.
The romantic halo around the Vikings does not find either historical or archaeological confirmation. But by the efforts of scientists that not a year, new fragments of scattered puzzle are found for a year. There are too few of them to add the whole picture. And you have to resort to the help of imagination.
