The collection includes translations of the poetry of Omar Khayyam, which were made by twenty -four Russian authors at the end of the 19th and early XX century. Many of these translations have never been published after the revolution. For each translator, a brief historical certificate is given. The collection is decorated with the work of the British graphs of E. Sullivan, R. Bulla, E. Dyulak, G. Ross, V. Podgani and Iranian miniaturist Hussein Behzada
