Omar Hayyam (1048-1131) is an amazing Persian poet, whose image is covered with legends, and the biography is full of riddles. In the ancient East, he was known primarily as a mathematician, astronomer, physicist and philosopher, and in the modern world as the creator of the lyrical quatrains: wise, written with the humor of the ruby. He was a master of this genre and struck him with the accuracy of observations, the depth of comprehension of the world, knowledge of the human soul and the musicality of rhythm.
It is believed that Omar Khayyam wrote about five hundred Rubai. This book included some of them translated by different poets and writers
