Marlena Mosh is a poet and translator, who is known, first of all, as a singer, a collector and performer of ancient Armenian melodies.
The book presents her poems of different years, and traditional in form, and written by free, not related rhymes and a certain metric sizes (verlibr) A sense of insidiousness of time, the desire to see the truth about himself, an assessment of a person by his ability to love and forgive, deep attachment to the earth, language and cultural heritage, both native Armenia and Russia, bitterness and joy of being, the depth of feelings and, sometimes, an ironic look , aimed at the world and himself are only a few of those motives, the interweaving of which is the essence of the author’s poetry. Time is a rod on which the pictures of life, the world “inner” and the world “external” are strung. The book begins with a poem about time, and ends with discussions about it, where the “earthly time” is a snake, and “the time of God” is a marvelous bird. The book is about a significant, essential, important, therefore in verses there is no decorations that do not carry the semantic load of empty words, which will notice an attentive reader, a connoisseur of a poetic word
