The story of the Dostoevsky school is abbreviated as Skik - a boarding school for former street children. Boys, accustomed to street life, are difficult to change: they are begging, stealing, and teachers are lifted. But they compose poems, draw, publish magazines, make cinema and gradually cease to be "difficult to use." Two pupils of the skin wrote this story three years after graduation, their editors were Samuel Marshak and Evgeny Schwartz.
