The first third of the XIX century in the history of Russian literature is often called the golden age of poetry. This expression was used by P.A. Pletnev, calling V.A. Zhukovsky was the first in the brilliant galaxy of poets - contemporaries and friends of A.S. Pushkin. Among them E.A. Baratynsky, K.N. Batyushkov, D.V. Venevitinov, A.I. Voeikov, P.A. Vyazemsky, N.I. Gnedich, D.V. Davydov, A.A. Delvig, I.A. Krylov, B.K. Kuchelbeker, A.I. Odoevsky, K.F. Ryleev, N.M. Languages. Each of them left a noticeable mark in Russian literature, and everyone went in poetry in their own way. It was a time of intense aesthetic searches, the development of a new poetic language capable of expressing the world of a private person - in his everyday concerns or in exalted civilian aspirations. The Russian lyrics found the opportunity to reveal the diversity of the world inaccessible before, it became a high art. The perfection of the form, the accuracy of the chosen word, the originality of thought and images are the criteria that have developed in Russian poetry at the beginning of the 19th century and which for a long time determined its development
