Experimental verification of the method and primer C. Redozubov fully confirmed the author’s hypothesis about the need for careful practical study of the main sounds of speech and assimilation of their graphic designation, as well as the correct location of sound and syllabic difficulties in the literal. The clarity of knowledge associated with the study of sounds, the practical study of each sound separately and, in combination with others, made the process of teaching a literacy by students of conscious assimilation of the main features of oral and written speech.
The system of letters of the 1950s is a natural continuation and completion of the direction that was laid by Ushinsky. The changes made to it corresponded to the modern data of linguistics, psychology, and pedagogy.
