The book is dedicated to the history of the Polish diaspora in Western Siberia in one of the turning points of the country"s history. The author analyzed the main approaches to the study of the Polish diaspora in Siberia. The work is a comprehensive study of the history of the Polish diaspora in Western Siberia, based on the materials of a large number of sources. The history of the migrations of Poles in Siberia, the composition of the Polish diaspora and the contribution of the Poles to the development of the region are investigated. Particular attention is paid to the contribution of the Poles to the development of entrepreneurship. The main forms of adaptation of Poles in Siberia are shown. Analysis of sources shows that the Poles took an active part in the socio-political life of the region. The author makes an attempt to determine the place of the Polish diaspora in the cultural history of Western Siberia. The newly found archival and published data made it possible to conclude that the Poles played an important role in the development of education, architecture and healthcare. The monograph is addressed to historians, teachers, graduate students and all the history of Russia
