This book is the anniversary (fiftieth) in a series of collections of Aphorist (poems of aphorisms) and stories by Konstantin Efetov. It is called “Point over I”, because the point is sometimes more important than the letter itself and symbolizes an important solution. The book has three sections. The first consists of new poems composed based on the wise thoughts of the Polish writer and philosopher Stanislav Hedgehogs Litsa. The second - What is there in the past new? - This is a kind of alphabet of new aphorist. The third section of the poems of aphorisms-“Mat on one move”-begins with a chess task in which the whites should do only one move in order to score the Black King. It seems that the decision should not be difficult. But here, as in the works of K. Efetov, not everything is so obvious. In the preface, the author apologizes to his readers, who collect all his books, for the fact that these collections occupy so much space on book shelves and bedside tables
