"Why such a book? Firstly, because what I write, compose and draw, in my sensation is connected with each other, although this is by no means illustrations for poetry and songs-just the thoughts and feelings of one person set forth by different means. Secondly-for forty-eight years of the existence of "Time Machine", we have never been published notes of our songs, and they often reproached me for this. And in general - I love books that are nice to hold in my hands. And "manual", I hope, gives our undertaking heat and values ".
