Valery Yakovlevich Bryusov (1873-1924) - one of the world -famous Russian poets. In his "Brief Autobiography", he wrote: "Many of my works are translated into most European languages and some non -European ones." Such attention to his work is quite justified: he himself responded with his verses, translations, literary and critical articles on the significant phenomena of world culture, from antiquity to the present.
