Andrei Saint-Senkov was born in 1968 in Tajikistan. He graduated from the Yaroslavl Medical Academy, lived in Borisoglebsk, Voronezh region, since 2002 in Moscow. He works as a doctor, a specialist in ultrasound diagnostics. The first book of poems" Tree on the slope of tears" was released in 1995 in the series" Library of Young Literature "Union of Young Writers" Babylon, followed by eleven books of poetry, low prose and visual poetry, a book of fairy tales for children, eight books of poetic translations. Laureate of the Turgenevsky Festival of Little Prose (2006), in 2006, 2008 and 2012, was included in the short list of Andrei Bely award. Saint-Senkov’s poems were translated into 25 languages, books of selected poems published in the USA (Awards of the American Pen Club for the best translated poetic book of the year), Serbia, Italy and the Netherlands
