Sergey Zavyalov (b. 1958) debuted in the Leningrad Samizdat of the 1980s, entered the club-81. By education, a classic philologist, for many years taught ancient Greek and Latin languages, as well as ancient literature, subsequently gave lectures on the history of Russian poetry of the 20th century, including in St. Petersburg and Zurich universities. Essays dedicated to Soviet and Finno-Ugric issues were printed in the journal UFO. In separate publications, in anthologies and periodicals, the verses and poems of Zavyalov were translated into 15 languages.
