The book included the chosen works of the forgotten writer of the Silver Age Maria Evgenievna Levberg (1892-1934), accompanied by an essay on her life and creativity, in which the information known about it is substantially adjusted and supplemented, and new ones are reported.
M.E. Levberg was considered a talented, “remarkable” author many outstanding writers of the Silver Age: A. Blok, N. Gumilev, M. Gorky, E. Zamyatin, A. Remizov. However, her work remains practically not familiar to the reader, and usually she is mentioned only as a short -term lover of N. Gumilyov, a protege of A. Blok, a long -term correspondent of M. Gorky. This book is an attempt to correct the current situation.
Most of the works are printed for the first time according to archival sources.
