Igor Seversyanin (Igor Vasilievich Lotarev) is one of the brightest figures of the Silver Age of Russian poetry. The king of poets - his glory was huge. Igor Seversyanin began to be printed in 1904, in 1911 he headed the course of egofuturism. The poet came to the poet after the collection “Thunder -boiling Cup” (1913) - in two years the book withstood seven editions. This collection was very highly appreciated by contemporaries, it was difficult to compete with such success. And in 1918, the northerner was elected the king of poets: at the poetic tournament, he defeated his main rival - Mayakovsky.
