Phenomenal P. T. Heliodor

Connecticut, 1830s. The thirteen -year -old P. T. Heliodor, the son of the groom, the dreamer and the dreamer, receives the inheritance from his father Nickel Island - the land that Heliodor Sr. always called the kingdom, and himself - the king. From childhood, P. T. dreamed of his future possessions and a loud title - imagined how, thanks to them, he would pull the whole family out of poverty and would not know. But the heir will be disappointed: in fact, Nickel Island is not a kingdom at all, but a piece of land in the swamps, where all persecuted and outcasts found refuge. The sensitive, compassionate and at the same time entrepreneurial P. T. Heliodor decides to take care of his subjects and with their help to fulfill the cherished dream - to open the theater of miracles with enchanting illusions.
Guido Zardoli graduated from the University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Even in a student, he enthusiastically painted and wrote, was engaged in animation. In 2004, he made his debut as a writer. Zgardoli books were published for children and adolescents in the largest Italian publishers and became laureates of prestigious awards, including the Andersen National Prize of the magazine in 2009, 2015 and 2018.
