"Phantasmagoria and other poems" is a collection of works by Lewis Carroll, compiled and published in 1869. The real edition included a significant part of the poems that make up the collection - this is the poem of the phantasmagoria ", which gave the name a book and several poems almost unknown to the Russian reader.
The real edition allows the reader a slightly different and, of course, wider to look at the work of the author of immortal "Alice" and "Hunting for the Snark". Carroll from the pages of the collection appears before us not only as one of the recognized creators of the literature of Nonsens, but also as a subtly sensing and vulnerable lyrics. The famous artist Vadim Ivanyuk quite accurately managed to convey the author’s lyricism characteristic of Carroll Humor, a tendency to paradoxes, irony and self -irony
