It begins with the fact that the Orthodox Christians with humility, repentance and hope pass the great post, and then joyfully meet bright Easter, the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. And at the same time, the whole creation of God - plants, residents of the seas and oceans, heavenly birds, animals and, of course, people, are updated and rejoiced.
Almost all the great Orthodox holidays of this time of the year are closely related to Easter, preceding her and following her.
