Maria Moravskaya (1889-1947) - poet of the Silver Age. She was a participant in the literary association "Workshop of Poets". Her lyrics was appreciated by Hippius and Voloshin, Bryusov and Ehrenburg. She collaborated with the children"s magazines "Tropy" and "Galchonok". In 1914, simultaneously with the first "adults" collections "on the pier" and "poems about the war", a book of her poems for children - "Orange Crings", which readers, critics, and even poets, spoke very well. Moravskaya spoke with children in a completely new language: without moralizing, but with sympathy for their experiences.
In 1917, Maria Moravskaya left for Japan, and then to America, where she spent the rest of her life. Apparently, therefore, her poems are known to our reader not as good as they deserve it.
For preschool and primary school age.
