Having become a school champion in chess, Vitya did not just began to set, but became so arrogant and touchy that his own shadow escaped from him - and remaining without a shadow on a hot summer day is not so nice. And the incredible adventures of two very similar boys - a real Viti and his shadow, who walks on its own, gets acquainted with the shadows of animals in the zoo and dreams that one day a real Vitya will form and correct.
This is one of those stories that are fascinating and cheerfully taught simple and necessary things: that to be kind and generous much better than arrogant and selfish, and how important it is to have faithful friends.
