High in the mountains in the middle of a dense forest, there was a bing-bong-a black shaggy monster with their eyes burning like two lanterns. More than anything, he loved to grow flowers in his garden, read books, bake cakes and drink tea with them. So he would live quietly and peacefully, but suddenly he began to notice that everyone around was walking in pairs, gathering flocks, and he is all alone. And then Bing Bong decided to go in search of other monsters in order to also find relatives and friends. But letting go on the road, he could not imagine that his journey would be so long and difficult. After all, monsters are very rare on Earth and find them - great luck!
The main character of the book, although a monster, is not at all scary, but good. The book talks about loneliness, but it does not catch the longing, but on the contrary inspires hope. Of course, the bing-bang is sad, and whoever sadden in his place, but he is determined to go through the whole world to find a family. And the reader becomes a participant in this fascinating trip. Together with the hero, he grinds through the forests, climbs the mountains, moves across the river, hangs over the abyss, wanders in the cave, floats along the sea, drowning, and then walks along the bottom. Together with the bing-bon, he gets into the trap to the mollusk, plays catching up with the sea turtle and rides on the whale. And he rejoices that in the end the hero finds relatives and friends, however, not at all where he thought to find them.
This story was composed by the artist Chris Jajj, and for each turn of the plot, he painted illustrations with unexpected details that are very interesting to consider. Large and small pictures, like shots of a movie, replace each other, folding in a colorful canvas. And the reader suddenly catches himself thinking that the hero on the pages of the book seems to come to life.
Series "for the smallest" is designed for children aged 3 to 5 years. It contains the best shots of modern foreign authors and artists. Each such book is distinguished by an interesting, original plot, understandable to children of the youngest age, and bright, dynamic illustrations at each turn.
It is precisely such books that parents help out when they ask the inevitable question "What else to read?", when the entire baby classic is read-read and considered to the holes.
In addition, the books of the series "for the smallest" are perfect for the first independent reading for children of preschool age
