Old Man Hottabych is one of the most famous and favorite literary heroes. A charming old man from a clay jug, fulfilling desires with the help of his beard and magical words. He was invented by the Soviet writer and poet Lazar Lagin. For the first time, readers met the jenin in 1938. Our book included the first edition without censorship.
