In part, the autobiographical story of Lydia Charian enjoyed incredible success among girls in pre -revolutionary Russia. After the death of the parents, the little Lena Lena is sent to live and educate her uncle"s family. However, not all households are happy about this - no one is in a hurry to surround her with care and love.
