The book presents 99 poems and miniatures of eight Chinese poets of the late XIX - early XXI centuries. The work of Tan Sytuna, Lu Sinya, Go Mojo, Ai Qin, Zheng Min, Hai Tzu, Liang Xiaomin demonstrates a turn to new values, ideas and stylistic transformations that occurred in the XIX poetry, and especially the XX century, and which is largely associated with the name statesman of China Mao Zedong. His poems are presented in the book as much as possible.
The traditional topics of Chinese poetry - love, fidelity, beauty of nature, solitude, sadness from the separation of the XX century are complemented by new motives - a chanting of activity, the romance of wanderings and the transformation of life, willingness to show will in order to change fate. The unique intonations and images of each of the poets awakens interest in the Chinese poetic tradition and make the collection interesting for a wide range of readers.
