Maxim Kalinin was born in 1972 in Rybinsk. The author of the poems “Dark Air” (M., 2008), “Watch over Shaksna” (M., 2014), “Slow Moon” (M., 2016) and “Sonnets about Russian Saints” (M., 2016), as well as the books of translations “Thomas Prungl. African sketches ”(M., 2010) Poems and translations were published in the anthologies “Seven centuries of English poetry” (M., 2007), “The Best Poems of 2010” (M., 2012), “The Best Poems of 2011” (M., 2013), “Poetic Atlas of Russia” (M., 2015) Laureate of the Prize for the poetry of the magazines Moscow (2002) and Ural (2009), as well as the Anthologia Awards magazine New World (2016) for the book Sonnets of Russian Saints.
