New life

The new life of Dante Aligieri is the youthful work of the great poet, who created him the glory of the Poet of the Prophet. Love in Beatrich for him is an event of a cosmic scale and sacred history. Without this anthem of love, it is impossible to imagine the subsequent literary tradition: it was the young Dante that substantiated love, and not simple imitation of nature as the main stimulus of poetic creativity. Accurate psychological observations, power over their own lyrical feelings, biblical and ancient contexts of feelings - all this allows us to consider a new life and as a workshop of future divine comedy, and as an example of a deeply personal experience of culture.
