The author of the book Anna Anisimova is a laureate and a nominee of numerous literary awards, including the competition K.I. Chukovsky 2021. History "My Home Iceberg" begins with the memory of my mother. Once I asked her to tell the most vivid impressions from childhood. Mom grew up in Siberia, in Yakutia, on the Lena River, where every year in May a grand ice drift occurs, and Lena demonstrates her strength when she leaves the shores and floods the lands, roads and houses. Once after such an ice drift, a huge piece of ice remained at my mother’s childhood house. Right the iceberg, my mother told me, we played with him until the middle of summer. Of course, I, as the author, could not pass by such a material, and immediately began to think what story I could tell using this image. Moreover, in childhood, I myself was visiting my grandparents on the Lena River and also grew up in Siberia - a little lower than Yakutia, in the north of the Irkutsk region, so I had my own memories. In addition, the theme of the place for me is one of the most important in work: it seems to me important to show the little reader the diversity of our country, I believe that this contributes to understanding other people.
Gradually, the story came to me. At that moment, my books" Music of my woodpecker "and" gutes" were preparing for the publication, were in the work of "stunts", and I realized that the text about the iceberg" should be final in the general picture of these books - this is how the plot about friendship was formed Girls and iceberg.
