Morge - the happiest inhabitant of the North, because:
- Firstly, thanks to the gardener, he fell in love with the smell of violets and the taste of melons,
- Secondly, he went on a fascinating journey to the big city,
- Third, with its help, the big city got rid of gangsters,
- fourthly, melons have become an ordinary dish in his homeland.
There would be enough one reason to feel happy. But there were four reasons, so the walrus is four happier! You will feel the same and you, having met this hero better and follow his life. After all, in the tale of Hairi Strob, there are so many amazing events that it would be enough for several books.
Like many adventures, this story began with a dispute: the gardener promised the professor to grow melons and violets even on the snowy, icy north. The gardener built a greenhouse, which once a clumsy walrus fell into. There, this cute ultrasound for the first time tasted the sweet southern fruit and inhaled the aroma of unfamiliar colors.
But the trouble is - the gardener left! Eat mollusks again? .. Inhale only frosty air? ..
The story of the "walrus and violets" was published in 1951, and after 60 years, Hairi struggle processed it, making heroes and decorations more modern. The publication of this book in Russian is accompanied by the original illustrations of the author, which he performed in unusual technique: prints from copper plates are painted using linogram.
It is these classical illustrations that emphasize involvement in the old traditions and the unique spirit of a good fairy tale
