A collection of poems by the modern Cypriot poet Mikhalis Pieris is dedicated to the memories of the mother, about the childhood held in Cyprus in the 50s, about the historical events of that era, reflections on the connection of the past and present country. The book also includes two academic articles dedicated to the work of the author, and photographs from the personal archive. The publication was performed in parallel in two languages, Greek and Russian, and it can be interesting to everyone who is not indifferent to Cyprus, to the Greek language in its dialect variety, and simply to modern world poetry.
